ABR: GlobalFoundries sues IBM
GlobalFoundries claim in a federal lawsuit that International Business Machines Corp. has illegally disclosed the Malta chipmaker's confidential trade secrets and intellectual property, the Albany Business Review is reporting. In federal court documents, GF argues they bought the chip making capability from IBM in 2015 and in doing so had exclusive rights to intellectual property that IBM has retained and has give to two of GF’s competitors, the story says.
