ABR: George Hotel to get a rebrand
The owners of The George on Route 9 in Queensbury may become a La Quinta Inn, the Albany Business Review says. The property was purchase through a foreclosure last year, and the new owners are looking to rebrand the 69,650-square-foot hotel. The owners have spent about $13 million acquiring businesses in Queensbury over the past 14 months, the story says.
