DG: Montagnino may not attend meeting of BLM, city council
Saratoga Spring Public Safety Commissioner James Montagnino told the Daily Gazette he might not attend a not-yet-scheduled meeting between the Black Lives Matter Saratoga group and the city council, a meeting agreed to as a way to bring peace to raucous city council meeting Tuesday Feb. 7. [Read our coverage of it here.] Montagnino’s argument against going is that the agreed-to meeting would only be set if the BLM activists allowed the rest of the city council meeting to proceed, which they ultimately did not; he sees their activity as a breech of the agreement, the story says.
