ABJ: Rensselaer on the rise
New real estate development and other investment are pumping millions of dollars into Rensselaer’s old commercial buildings and pushing up the price for new and existing homes, the Albany Business Journal says in a profile of the city. The city’s housing prices are still below the Capital Region average; it is near drug manufacturer Regeneron Pharmaceuticals and jobs in the capital; and it has waterfront property that can be developed. All of that plays into the influx of cash, the story says.
