TU: Albany Airport caught in FAA glitch
According to a story in the Times Union: Troubles with the FAA’s computer system grounded at least five flights at Albany International Airport Wednesday morning.
Flights have been grounded until 9a.m. Eastern time.
The FAA first tweeted at 6:40 a.m. that it was having computer problems. Another tweet about 15 minutes later said they were working, and: “While some functions are beginning to come back on line, National Airspace System operations remain limited.”
At 7:19 a.m., they wrote the domestic flights were grounded until 9 a.m.
ABJ: Hochul lists priorities in State of State
Gov. Kathy Hochul said she is looking to raise the minimum wage, add housing and improve in general the state’s business climate, the Albany Business Journal is reporting. The remarks came during her state of the state address. She wants to index the wage hike to inflation and see 800,000 units of housing built over a decade, generally making New York "more affordable, more livable and safer," the story says. The business climate aims at the tech sector and sustainability.
