ABJ: Ilium Building in Troy sold
The five-story Ilium Building on Fulton Street in Troy has a new owner, a 27-year-old who buys rental properties and renovates them and uses the equity to finance the next purchase, the Albany Business Journal is reporting. The building had been under contract for sale last year from Manhattan-based real estate investors, the story says. Carlos Gutierrez Trust in San Francisco is the seller and is holding a $1.57 million mortgage on the $1.8 million sale.
