ABR: Biz model based on employee growth
Trent Griffin-Braaf, owner of Tech Valley Shuttle has developed a business model that not only hires from underrepresented groups in the workforce — people such as former felons, veterans, and single moms — and that is needed in a tight labor market, a story in the Albany Business Review says, but also he is helping them develop their own lives and companies outside of the work they do for the bus company. That model includes experts in human resources and organizational psychology to help, and his employees create “business plans” for their lives to help them navigate the job and promotional process.
