BOIL WATER ADVISORY ARGYLE: As of 9:30 p.m. May 30, the Village of Argyle has repaired the leak in the water system on Sheridan Street, and water service to the village has been restored. A boil water advisory is in effect until further notice, according to village officials.

ABR: Carpet One to sell Latham store, open elsewhere
Carpet One Floor & Home is looking to sell its longtime space in Latham and move closer to Wolf Road with an eye toward Slingerlands or Saratoga Springs for another retail location, the Albany Business Review is reporting. The move would put the store near the zip codes that are most active for the flooring retailer. The moves come after the company’s prepandemic expansion, itself followed by the boom of work the pandemic brought to home improvement companies, the story says.
